Recycled PET bottles

The plastic bottles of our El Corte Inglés brand juices, oils and gazpachos contain a high percentage of Recycled PET.

 El Corte Inglés coffee capsules, compatible with Nespresso machines, are 100% compostable. They break down like other organic products and can be disposed of in the Brown Bin.

FSC Cellulose
The El Corte Inglés brand cellulose items are FSC-Certified which guarantees that raw materials come from forests that are repopulated to help their survival in the future.

At El Corte Inglés we work alongside our suppliers and other interest groups to undertake our animal welfare commitment. We promote improvement actions for the products we sell and are aware of  the importance of achieving the highest standards in our commercial activity. Commitment to Cage-Free Eggs

> 100% of our own brand fresh eggs come from cage-free hens and combined systems.

> Across the entire fresh egg category, 97% come from cage-free hens and combined systems.

In addition, we continue working with our suppliers to ensure that all own brand products containing fresh eggs as an ingredient meet this same standard by 2025.

European Chicken Commitment 

> El Corte Inglés meets the standards of the  European Chicken Commitment across 100% of our Own Brand fresh chicken range. The Manufacturer Brand meets 15% of the commitment.

The Own Brand Strategic Plan only includes the development of slow-growing chicken.

The entire fresh chicken category, both Own Brand and Manufacturer Brand, is certified with the Animal Welfare seal.

We're committed to local production, with 100% of our suppliers being domestic.

All our bags have a minimum of 70% recycled material after consumption and they meet the UNE 53930 standards.
We also guarantee an optimum useful life of at least 15 uses.
