What does the blue MSC seal mean?
Sustainable. Wild. Certificate (Marine Stewardship Council). The blue fish seal is only granted to wild fish and seafood from fisheries certified according to the standard, a science-based indicator of sustainable fishing.
The impact of each fishery on wild fish populations and their ecosystems is measured. The supply chain is controlled from the ocean to the table, with a clear label so that the origin can be tracked and certified.
